Indulge in a hearty breakfast of freshly-made blueberry pancakes, then wander Main Street for attic treasures and previously-loved books and jewelry in the villages' churches. Admire the beautiful quilt show.  Purchase homemade baked goods and local honey.   Sample freshly-baked bread and enjoy delicious apple crisp.   Visit the many booths along the street and stop in the local shops for special sales. Participate in a 5K run along the rail trail. Enjoy hot dogs, Greek pastries, baked potatoes with toppings, chili and cornbread, and mac 'n cheese.  Don't miss the special book sales at the library and book store.  Look for local artisans selling hand-made jewelry, pottery, textiles, and crafts. Listen to live music by the Salisbury Band and the Joint Chiefs. Enjoy delicious apples, popcorn, and cider. Visit the art galleries and the exhibit at the Historical Society.  Learn about a child identification program.  Enjoy the “Fall Festival Tastings” of delicious offerings at the local market.  Cast your vote in the Scarecrow Contest.  Bring the kids!  They'll enjoy magic shows, hayrides, games, face painting, pumpkin decorating, and crafts.  Make autumn garlands and wreaths at a free workshop. Enjoy a live “Birds of Prey” program by Audubon Sharon.   In the evening, enjoy cooked lobsters, a delicious roast beef dinner, and live music. On Sunday there's the annual pancake breakfast, book sales, local crafts, art exhibits, and more shopping.  End the weekend at the Beer-Fest up at the ski jumps with gorgeous views of the Litchfield Hills and Berkshire Mountains.  We hope you'll also visit the two villages' intriguing stores, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants.  Many will be offering sidewalk sales throughout the Festival. And stop in for a drink, a meal, or spend the weekend at one of our charming country inns!
